David has more than 30 years of experience as an executive, researcher, and advisor to senior leaders. He served as Vice President of Human Resources for a Fortune 100 healthcare firm and worked in management consulting with Ernst & Young. David has been featured in the Associated Press, Reuters, The New York TimesUSA TodayAARP Magazine, the Advisory Board, Modern Healthcare, Voice of America Radio, and the Houston Chronicle, among others.

His clients have included major energy companies, such as Schlumberger, Devon Energy, Tesoro/Andeavor, and El Paso Corporation, as well as a diverse mix of other organizations, including JD Power, MD Anderson Cancer Center, Mylan Pharmaceuticals, Pearson (formerly Harcourt), Ascension Health, and other leaders in their industries. David created a leadership development program with Bloomberg that was employed by Intel, AT&T, Walmart, GE, Lowes, Coca-Cola, and Diageo. His clients have also included the United Nations, the European Union, and the governments of Colombia, Egypt, South Korea, Mexico, Malaysia, Guatemala, Turkey, and the Philippines.

David earned a Ph.D. in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from the University of Tulsa and is currently a Professor of Management in the H-E-B School of Business & Administration at the University of the Incarnate Word in San Antonio, Texas. His home in the Texas Hill Country is served by both an electric cooperative and a telecommunications cooperative.
