Laura Little

Laura is the Chick-fil-A Distinguished Professor for Leadership Advancement in the Terry College of Business at the University of Georgia. She has been on the UGA faculty since 2008 and, for nine years, was the Director of UGA’s Institute for Leadership Advancement.

Laura is an award-winning professor who teaches a variety of leadership and organizational behavior courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels, covering topics such as leading teams, resolving conflict, communicating effectively, and much more. Laura currently serves as Associate Editor for Academy of Management Journal. Her research has been published in several leading journals, including Academy of Management JournalAcademy of Management ReviewJournal of Applied Psychology, and Personnel Psychology.

Laura received her doctorate in management at Oklahoma State University, her MBA at the University of Texas at Austin, and her BA from Vanderbilt University. Her home is served by an electric cooperative.
